Mount Adams and Madison from a distance.

Mount Adams and Madison zoomed in. We hiked about 13 or 14 miles to get to Mount Madison. Tuckerman's, Alpine Garden, Wamasutta, Chandler Brooks, Great Gulf, Buttress Trails.

We survived the hike down Chandler Brooks Trail... very steep and poorly marked. Dangerous and fun at the same time. Sebastian and Shahram again. We didn't (not surprisingly) see anyone on this trail. We went up the Buttress Trail later in the day. An uphill boulder scamble in the rain and only one group of hikers coming down.
